First time I went to see Bret, I cried through the consultation. I’ll never forget what he told me, “your credit score is not a measure of the person you are.” I was a nervous wreck, I felt like a failure and was at the point where I didn’t want to get out of bed and I never answered my phone. Due to my pride, I didn’t see Bret until I had been trying to dig myself out for years. By that time, I had a better paying job and went on a payment plan bankruptcy, which I was relieved and thankful for. Bret walked me through it, answered questions and calmed me.
